Most people don't blunder a queen or a rook in one move at this level? It seems you've been out of this level for too long

With London should always be going bishop g3 when challenged so can re take with the h pawn and open the file for the rook… it’s the best line even for beginners 👍

I think the crucial point in the first game was not recapturing the knught at 8:12, as that would give black a really strong center, as well as not exchanging the good knight right after.
I think you do this type of content really well. Im too weak of a player to appreciate really high level play so this is more my jam 😀

I dont get how people always identify with being one elo rating. Like I am an under 1200 in 5 minute games or less, staying between 1000 and 1100 usually, though have been over 1200.
Yet at the same time I hover between 1450 and 1550 in 10 minute games. 500 elo points is quite a big difference between these two time formats and its been this way for me for a long time.
I watch Gotham Chess Guess the Elo sometimes and he rarely brings up the time control when making his guesses, yet to me its one of the main determining factors.
Anna says if you are under 1200 then you should really be practicing playing longer games… but I'm not under 1200 at longer games 😅. Not even close and haven't been for years. Whats wrong with me? Or do others have this too?
At 12:04 can anyone explain why they would capture her knight with the queen there? I'm still new and sometimes in these videos I'll see a piece not even discussed in the game plan as if it's obvious why they wouldn't move it. I saw the bishops attack supported by the queen but their queen could still just escape down the b diagonal

The way you teach is amazing. I feel proud to technically be a student under Anna Cramling. Maybe one day I might win against the computer or over the board even!
Check. Capture. Attack. The way you explain the reason behind each move and why to move pieces where makes me want to keep playing chess. All too often I just can't figure out the why part when moving pieces. I wish I had an Anna telling me which way to go
