BOGUS CRAP!!!!!!!! Elo ratings have changed the formula for calculating rating over the years because of Fischer. The Soviet Union hated Bobby so much they could not let him stay on top! Computers have ruined chess.

Rating doesn't say anything if you don't account for rating-inflation. In general ELO only says something about differences between players and expected winrates. The most dominating performance ever can also be shown objectively by current day AI machine learning algorithms rating every move during a tournament for instance.
