  1. This is not the feeling of beating the world chess champion but the feeling of hard work getting the results.

The title gives so much wrong notion

  2. You can see that he put his heart and soul into the game

  3. Man. Magnus didn't even shake his hand or congratulate him? Totally lack of respect and zero sportsmanship.

  4. With this match now more people are going to watch Andrey Esipenko's chess games

  5. What a sweet young guy. He seems really humble. I wonder why we don't hear more about him in the community when people are chatting about various top players

  9. Amazing how i cant hear myself think over the music

  10. He like "How disappoionted. Now you need to buy me a new suitcase for my time machine.."

  11. Is it just me or do chess pros have zero sportsmanship ? I rarely see a congratulatory handshake or anything like that ..

  12. This is how I feel if I understand how a game was won on YouTube

  13. And.. he's only 18. And beating the best player. What a kid

  14. For me a losing streak of 125 games is my biggest achievement in chess

  15. I can beat Carlsen, I’m just mot using my full power!

  16. Russians are great thinkers. Not only chess, but natural sciences as well. Also violin players – vast majority of the most famous players in the history of violin came from Tzars Conservatory, or later. Just recently I learned that a Russian invented welding!
Many Nobel prices (Americans are no 1) given e.g. to Americans are actually given to Russians because they came to America to earn larger money, which of course cannot change their origin, birth and genes.
    Great nation, my respect.

  17. How can Russian nation have such smart and creative individuals and yet be so stupid as a whole?

  18. After seeing this, I wanna watch a film on his story, instead of Magnus!

  19. I heard weird rumours that Esopenko cheated in an unusual way

  20. "Let the rest be in fate's hand… it will be history"

  21. He's a god of the thing man I feel like he coulda been more of a good sport about it hahaha the kid was totally stanning him I'm sure this game could never mean as much for Mr. Carlsen as it clearly did for him
