Improve Your Chess Rating: Helping You Make Better Moves via Carlsen-Giri ’22

NM Dan Heisman reviews the ways to make/find better moves (add/fix knowledge, analyze & evaluate better, consistency, time management, psychology, etc) and then views today’s Carlsen- Giri game at Tata Steel 2022 with an eye toward helping the viewer understand which issues contribute to making those moves.

Prior to the video Dan had only seen the final position/result and final clock times.

NM Dan Heisman has been a full-time chess instructor since 1996 and is the author of 12 chess books, the TV show “Q&A with Coach Heisman” on Chess.com and the radio show “Ask the Renaissance Man” on the Internet Chess Club.
